Bomb-Making Caused Iraq Mosque Blast -US Military
Wed July 2, 2003 10:11 AM ET
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The U.S. military said Wednesday a deadly explosion in a mosque that enraged the Iraqi town of Falluja was triggered by a bomb-making class inside the building.
"The explosion was apparently related to a bomb manufacturing class that was being taught inside the mosque," the U.S. Central Command said in a statement. Falluja residents had accused U.S. forces of attacking the mosque late Monday.
Residents said the blast killed nine people, including the mosque's imam, or prayer leader.
Didn't those idiots see the sign telling them to extinguish all cigarettes before handling explosives?

One must watch one's company.
Of Course, Paul of Tarsus, who was not
a man of one book, quoted him in First Corinthians, 15,33.
This is also a traditional Highland saying:
Millidh droch chomhluadar deagh bheusan
but it recalls another one perhaps more appropriate here:
Milidh aon leibhid a' chuinneag
which means ONE LITTLE MISHAP WILL DESTROY THE PAIL.
I also recall Psalm xxxvii, 28:
THE SEED OF THE WICKED SHALL BE CUT OFF.
Aye, gang warily with such evil-doers, thugs and assassins. I wudna trust those backstabbers wi' a bucket of ants nor an empty tin can nor of course a razor or a boxcutter
They are beyond the pail.
