OUR FRIENDS THE SAUDIS (CONT.)

        Saddam Hussein is no longer able to divert oil money, intended to meet humanitarian needs, into his personal bank account and towards the funding of suicide bombers. This has left Palestinian terrorists scrambling for financial support. Not to worry; our friends the Saudis are ready to step into the breach. RIYADH, 24 June 2003 — The Kingdom is involved in 27 projects costing millions of riyals.... Prince Naif, interior minister and general supervisor of the Saudi Committee for Support of the Al-Quds Intifada, has endorsed the grants for the projects

"Al-Quds Intifada" is the code phrase for the terrorist war to destroy Israel. No doubt Colin Powell will be "troubled" by Israel's unfriendly attitude towards the peace loving, humanitarian Saudis.
