Perhaps, this Bush is repeating his father's mistakes? Anyone who listens to Powell deserves to lose the public trust. And, the election in 2004. (I know. I know. Karl Rove thinks the democrats have no horses to run. And, there's no rich guy lurking in the background to run like Ross Perot did.) What's so bad about spending a few million in order to garner 19%?
What complaints are there really for Clinton's run? We had prosperity. Whatever arm-twisting of Israel did, ended in a loss for Oslo.

Anyway, the cards are out on the table. It's not as if we can contantly be fooled. And, I doubt if I'd vote for Bush. Didn't last time. Won't again.

BTW, I always thought Andrew Sullivan's Howell Raines thing was a straight vendetta. Too bad Sullivan was rewarded ....
