December 04, 2002OUR FRIENDS THE SAUDIS EXPLAIN HOW HITLER WAS MISUNDERSTOODADEL AL JUBEIR ON CNN WEDNESDAY December 4, 2002 On CNN THIS MORNING BILL HEMMER QUOTED A SAUDI TEXTBOOK WHICH CLAIMS THAT MUSLIMS MUST CONFRONT THE INFIDELS-- JUBEIR'S RESPONSE: WE ARE TRYING TO PURGE ABOUT 5% OF THE TEXTBOOKS AND CHANGE SOME OTHERS. I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THAT EXACT QUOTE BUT YOU MAY BE TAKING IT OUT OF CONTEXT. IF YOU TOOK SOMETHING THAT ADOLPH HITLER SAID OUT OF CONTEXT IT MIGHT ALSO SOUND INCITEFUL WHEN IN FACT IT WAS NOT REALLY INCITEFUL. Once again, by taking things our of context the Jewish controlled media has given Hitler and the Saudis a bum rap. |
"IF YOU TOOK SOMETHING THAT ADOLPH HITLER SAID OUT OF CONTEXT IT MIGHT ALSO SOUND INCITEFUL WHEN IN FACT IT WAS NOT REALLY INCITEFUL."
Although Hitler was inciteful, in that he incited people to action, would "insightful" be the correct word to use (as in discernment, wisdom, understanding...)? Or maybe I misunderstood the information...
Posted by: mom on December 19, 2002 12:36 AMEnmity between Saudis & Jewshas been recorded historically for centuries. Yet, I would not want to attribute a belief to each individual of any particular people group just because there is a pervasive belief known to be among them (for example, anti-semitism in the Middle East)-- this would be just plain stereotyping.
However, many testify to the individual man Hitler's "bum rap," as you put it. There are many more people that those you label "Jewish-dominated media" who have documented their excruciating experiences under a political/societal machine fueled by his many hatreds and unscientific beliefs regarding human genetics (for example, many Eastern Europeans, "Gypsy" people groups, physically and mentally handicapped people, those of religious or political conviction differing from Hitler's own, etc.)
Posted by: mom on December 19, 2002 01:11 AMI apologize for any tone that appears unseemly, but there's little room in comment area for my weakness toward rambling when trying to express thoughts. I wonder, have you ever ever researched extraordinary human evil? Such as mass murderers like Jeffery Dahmer (sp?) or genocides such as of Armenians, Kurds, Sudanese, etc. I realize that not everyone believes as I do, that people are created by God and that He has a plan and purpose for us-- thus we are precious to Him and that my lack of compassion toward my fellow beings insults God. Perhaps you are open to the research-based understanding that "Us-them" thinking leads individuals and societies to dehumanize others and then even to then blame them (rationalizing why they can victimize "them"). I don't want to misunderstand you, but through your wording I inferred that you think Jewish journalists are fundmentally biased. Do you have a problem with Jews being journalists, or is it any Jews that you are against, or neither? I have not seen any polls or read enough papers or heard enough TV/radio reports to know whether or not the media might be Jewish-dominated or re: subject to comment on what seems to be your conclusion. I feel that you might be anti-semitic. Please clarify and correct any errors on my part. Thank you.
Posted by: mom on December 19, 2002 01:54 AMAl Jubeir, whether in traditional robe or Armani has often invoked Hitler. On Hardball, he stated that the Saudis want a "final solution" to the Arab-Israel conflict. Indeed they do.
