September 12, 2002SOME LONG FORGOTTEN FACTS: WhatSOME LONG FORGOTTEN FACTS: What it takes to bestir the American people to action: 1915: 123 Americans perished when the Germans torpedoed the British liner Lusitania. 1941: 2403 Americans were killed when the Japanese Attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Even then the attack was not against civilians but a military target. 2001: More than 3000 people, mostly innocent civilians were killed in the attacks on 9-11-2001. And still we debate the rectitude of warring against our sworn enemies. Comments
